Can anyone tell me what the wire gauge and amperage rating of the NU and NE (brown with white tracer and brown with blue tracer) are? They are connected to the A and A1 terminal of the general control unit.
Thanks,
Steve Baker

I believe they are 44 strand, roughly equivalent to 12 AWG and rated at 25.5 amps continuous. But they will carry more for short periods of time as long as the connections are good. I ran for many years with a 65 amp alternator feeding the battery through the original NW and N and never had any problem with the wire overheating.

BTW, brown with white is NW. NU is brown with blue.

Randall,
Thanks so much! I want to protect them with a 30 amp fuse so that should work out just fine.
