Wedge Now this could be a real find beautiful TR8 conv

Very nice indeed!

No it wouldn't - you'd be painting the engine red within 6 months

Alan, Alan, Alan............

All I meant was that it would settle my needs for a TR8 versus buying a TR6.

I would have that car at Woody's so fast that it would make your head spin. It would be tweaked to the streetable max and all during that rebuilding process the color charts would be in review.

So many colors, so few engines............

I think that red is a great engine color, but I'm undecided if it would be the color for that particular car. Hmmm.....

Then save yourself a bunch of $ up front and convert a 7.

Kind of a strange listing tho...tons of pictures, but only one of the engine bay, and none of the interior...hmmmmm

Hope the 2x4 behind the car isn't the 'parking brake'

Anyone else spot the smart cars?..

Re: Now this could be a real find beautiful TR8 co

Saw many Smart cars when in Germany, Christmas of 06. The specs I've seen for the ones here are not as impressive. Maybe due to EPA regs. It's kind of strange when you see one parked heading into the curb. As for the TR8, I'm watching it, but will be surprised if it goes much over 7 grand. Finding an original trunk lock is impossible and the last NOS one I saw went for $350.00. Looks like a paint over and new top not real well installed. The bubbling around the wheel wells probably portends worse rust somewhere else covered by paint.
