Says the vendor - "I am going to sell my lovely Austin Healey Sprite. It is great fun to drive and easy to maintain. (...) I hate to sell the car, but I must make room in my garage for other toys."

hehehe... he's not kidding! I hate it when the Benz has to sit outside, just so you've got somewhere to park the Ferrari and the Jag. Man, that's a tough dilemma...

I understand the need for garage space but isn't he getting rid of the wrong car?

I think he should get rid of some of that junk in the garage.
And I'd rather get rid of the "Jag" (don't say Ford)

I call them "Forduars"

With spousal blessing, I was shopping for a used Ferrari 308/328 about two years ago. The prices are not bad, but the parts... oh man, UNREAL. Something like $500 for a set of plug wires and $700 for an OEM water pump (that needs frequent replacing). The parts prices were truly insane.
