Now I've got an MG too!

Very funny, Trevor. Now for the right price... I'll give you all those for a mere $20,000. I'll even throw in the body tub for free! /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif

haha, once droo pulls the motor and components, there wont be much left!....id sell it as a rolling tub and use the money to get (new) brakes etc.....z

I got #153034 and it had the thick flanged block with no oil passage above the center main. If yours is the same, serious racers like that block becauase it stands up to high rpms. Any 1275 is good, but that block is worth more than the average. My Midget came with a dumpster of rat dodo, hay and a lot of rust. The fun begins, enjoy!!!!!!

Drew- that car should have a 3.9 or possibly a 3.7 diff which would go nicely on a 1275 Bugeye. The axles also fit so keep them as spares too.

Most likely a 3.9 rearend, that would be ideal. The car would still jump off the line, but have legs on the expressway.
