I found this object in my differential. I bet that explains why the car doesn't move when I put it into gear. This was preceded a few weeks ago by a bad ignition coil. I hope to be driving before the summer ends.

Clean it out really good. MIne had a ton of bits in it. I put a magnet on the plug too.
 
I think I'd be a little worried about where it came from. :confuse:
 
Wow-- that's worth investing in the gaskets and seals to pull the axles and diffy out of there to have a really good look and cleaning.

It's the end of the axle that snapped, thus the not moving part. Everyone that has had this happens knows exactly what it looks like.
