After being there for nigh on 33 hours while the missus was in labor.

Still, it was worth it in the end; now I have a smaller set of hands to get to those awkward bolts...

Boy. 7lbs 1oz. All parts seem to be present and accounted for.

She DID do all the work. There is nothing - and I DO mean nothing - more useless than a husband in the delivery room...

Alana...congrats...yea...when my first child was born women moved way up to the top in my definition of TOUGH!..

I had some kidney stones pass years ago and they say that's the closest a man can get to child labor...man was I a wimp!!!

How long before he has his own LBC?

The little ones are lots of work, frustrating at times and worth every second of it.

WOW! CONGRATS to the three of you!

Now the REAL work begins. /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/thumbsup.gif

Congrats!

You're right - I've seen hundreds, seems like most of them are intent on capturing every nuance of the process in living color. Never quite understood that... /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/smile.gif

/bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/lol.gif That's why in the old days they would send the man off to boil water...kept him out of the way...There is absolutely nothing one would need hot water for (except maybe coffee or tea afterward!)!!! /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/thumbsup.gif

Congrats on the new arrival!! /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/cheers.gif

Congratulations to you and SWMBO! Great looking kid. I miss the days when my littlest one slept on my shoulder.
