Nother Cam Question

Morris

Talk to APT. They were great with my engine and make high quality cams. Hap has alot of information on this subject.

I am still trying to wrap my head around this whole cam thing.

Does anyone have any experience with Isky cams? https://www.iskycams.com/makesearch.php?catid=127&engine_id=305

It seems like the first one would be a good street cam. And the price certainly seems right.

That price is to regrind your cam, and it doesn't include nitriting, which you very much want. Isky grinds all our race cams under the Comptune brand, and then they are nitrited, we also have the ablity to get them made in billets. Mike Miller at Comptune owns the master lobes and they only make them for us, and they all full-out race cams. If you get Isky to nitrite your cam, it will be held in a batch until a number is reached to go off for nitriting, could be longer than you want to wait, long story stort, just see what David Anton at APT has got in stock for your A-seires in a nitrited regrind and buy his good lifters and you will get about as good of a deal on a proper hardened cam and lifters you can buy, not a place to skimp.

Mike Miller also has some great Street Cams.

Steve
