There was a Ohio man who crashed his Dodge Charger into a guardrail
on Interstate 81.
A Virginia State Trooper started chasing him,after getting a call about
an attempted larceny at the Smyth County's Mountain Empire Airport.
It seems that Dwayne Pope (the Charger driver) was found inside a
plane cockpit by the airport manager.The manager said Pope had a video
pulled up on his phone with instructions on how to fly the plane.
Pope had managed to activate the master switch,turn on the planes
exterior lights and remove the wheel chocks before being confronted by the
manager.
He was eventually caught by the state trooper.
