Picked up a very pristine 1987 Buick Grand National on Saturday and drove her home from Rhode Island to NJ...YAY!!!!!!!!!!!!

200 HP when today 650 is not uncommon. Strange isn't it.

Those GrandNationals are VERY tunable.
 
It was the 3.8 L engine. I dunno about "even" firing. I do know that a slightly modified Gran National could run in the mid to upper twelves in the quarter mile.
 
It was billed as the fastest production American car of its day!!
 
What you need now is a 1970ish Buick GSX! 455ci of performance luxury.
