Not looking a gift horse in the mouth?

I'll be the first one to say I'm a "pest" but I am doing quite well at "bugging" people and making great strides if I do say so myself.
It's the "buzz" around town anyway.

Well, I'm trying to line up borrowing something that I can pull a trailer with so I can use the three day weekend to get the MGB from Omaha. It's three hours away by interstate.

I thought I'd check the local used book store to see if they had any titles on British Sports Cars or MGs, so I stopped in this morning to ask. "No, don't have a THING on cars" the guy says. Then he goes, "Well I do have one on Land Rover or something." So he walks over and grabs a book off the top of the shelf and says, "No, it's 'MGB'. I lied." (It's Lindsay Porter's book "MGB: Guide to Purchase & D.I.Y. Restoration" for $5. So I'm a pretty happy camper.

Nice snag on the book. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbsup.gif
