...had to be in the office this week so I'm not in Vermont with all those Healey people. Boy the weather was great in New England this weekend..Hope they all have a grand time.

It's hot and humid here in Vermont; reminds me of when I was stationed in Kentucky, Alabama, North Carolina and Florida.

About 400 registrations, probably about that many Healeys.

Just got back from judging concours. Now I can go back to pulling the wings off flies.

Delegates' Meeting in 50 minutes. Then I can go back to pulling he wings off flies.

BBQ dinner tonight. Then I can go back...

Now I remember why we moved to the Land of Enchantment from New England.

Agatha was not brave enough to drive to Vermont but we know two Sullivans that did. I think they should be given the "Special C" trophy by the conclave members. "C" of course is for courage or crazy, however you would interpret their gusto.

If you haven't read their blog yet, the following is the address:

For sure Agatha and her caretaker(s) are planning on San Diego next year.

Enjoy the Conclave. Agatha and I are a tad envious of those attending.

Have to go now and thank heavens for high altitude, I don't have to pull the wings off flies.

Reid--

Writing you from the Holiday Inn just down from the Sheraton--good seeing you today at Concours and the Delegates meeting. Give the flies a break.

Steve Cloyes and I left the BBQ dinner early and walked down to the local baseball stadium to watch the Burlington Lake Monsters play the Oneida Tigers (Single-A league). The Monsters dropped it 4-2 to the visitors but it was a slice of Americana to go to a small stadium and be with the locals.

BTW they never heard of corn dogs up here--go figure!

Reid - How did that Longbridge featured BN4 do in the final judging of Concours?????

I was very happy that Shawn Miller with his Longbridge BN4 took first place in the popular vote for the 4 seated roadsters?

Watcha going to do with all those wings?

pulling wings off flies???

It was a figure of speech, playing on the perception that some people seem to have about concours judges. Actually we don't pull the wings off flies. At least as far as I know. I can speak only for myself. Come to think of it, there are a couple of those other judges who... oh never mind. /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/eek.gif

/bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/blush.gif Well I guess the whole world knows I am a 'literal' person. Having lived in New England I believed it was buggy in Vermont as it is/was in Massachusetts. Also, Agatha has never been concourse judged. Indeed I don't like showing/judging. I do however like hearing comments from other car buffs. AND I especially like driving Agatha.

Guess I'd better be a tad more aware. /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/blush.gif
