Rather ticked off right now actually... The photos I had published in our local paper back in November, have been wiped off their site, as if it never happened, good thing I still have a paper copy (or two, or three, or four, etc...) I'm just finding it a little funny that some photos from the "Our Town" segment that pre-date mine by a couple of weeks are still on the site, but mine is gone forever just a dropped link... *sigh*

That is the way of the world. If we dare think we're completely in control, we're often negatively surprised.

You have talent - but talent provides no guarantees. We've got confidence in your art, and in you. So keep moving "onward through the fog".

There is also the possibility that the person who decided which pictures to take down simply has no taste.

I know it's out of my control, I just wish they had kept the electronic version up longer... I met a fellow photographer last night at an event and wanted to show him the link in an e-mail, only to find that all trace was gone... For that "Our Town" page it looks like they don't archive them for very long... I suspect if it was a longer length piece it would be archived for longer on the site... I could still point him to my Flickr set but that was about it...

There's a possibility the page(s) are stlil on:
