I pull the front carb and do a bit of work on the side of the brass fitting that the throtle adjusting screw is in. I think just a bit more space between it and the carb would be a good idea and would make sure that butterfly seats properly once and for all. It is just too tight in my mind.
 
CAREFUL there. A "Swiss file" and some "judicious knobbeling" are the order of the day.

Eval th' conditions, make adjustments accordingly.
 
Oh yea Doc, just a few thousands or maybe even is a bur in there from the new shaft bearing drilling. Anyway, just a touch.
