Not "Cars & Coffee"

We went to a car show last weekend.
Not exactly Cars & Coffee...mostly plastic hot rods and guys older than me pretending they're teenagers.
But...some nice wheels.

It was less than 2 miles from our place, so it was no big deal to go. And it was for a good cause, helping various children's diseases. It was held in the Birchwood Manor in Whippany, New Jersey.

This goofy thing is a Ford/Thames with a Corvette drivetrain and Jeep axles. There was also a jacked-up rhd Cortina with a Chevy but I forgot to take a picture of it.

The first (blue) one might be a Diazio, the second (grey)is a Noble, the third (red) one is an NSX, I think. Fourth (grey) is a new Ferrari, fifth (black) is a Ferrari Daytona and farthest car (red) is a Ferrari 275 GTB4

One of the last all-aircooled 911s built...look what's behind it.

Yes, this is a Porsche 10 cylinder Carrera GT!

Pretty sure this is an Auburn with a (black) Cadillac limo next to it.

This is a Bizzarinni and not even a normal one. Most of these have Chevy engines but this one is sporting a Lamborghini V12

*sigh* Even New Jersey has nicer cars than Calgary...

It looks like quite the show there, although I'll definitely pass on that Thames 4x4 *ugh!* That Tucker on the other hand, a little messed up but my odds of ever seeing one in my lifetime? I'm not counting even... /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/grin.gif

The combined value of those cars must be more than the GNP of Louisiana!

Hey...I represent that remark...and I was surprised to find there were really guys older than "you" still driving..I was expecting the pics to be of motorized wheelchairs....lol!! very NICE rides!

It's just hard to believe this show is always just an impromptu thing! But, WOW!!

I'm quiverin' from shock over the 275... I think I pee'd meself, too.

Stunning group of cars. Thanks, Nial.

...now I'm gonna go kick the Elan.

Very Nice and Thanks for the pics!

"The first (blue) one might be a Diazio,"

And that just may be the way to mount my front license plate that I've been putting off over the last year. That legal?

Wow, reading the "discalimer" at the beginning I was expecting to see about a billion tri-five Chevies and b-body Mopars...nice pics!
