Ran across a split rear bumper, round wheel arch MG. No rust, I repeat, no rust. 1275 of course and it runs. hehe.

It looks complete.

What is it worth as is.

Tatty or clean?
Need paint or not, or has it had a resell paint job?
Solid engine or weak?

Anywhere from $1500 for a solid tatty driver up to $3500 for a clean solid driver.

GRAB IT!!

Thank you folks. It was grabed by a friend who is 85 as part of a package of three. one midget, one AH both 1275s and a midget parts car with a 1500.

Think he gave 900 for all three. AH is already haveing the engine rebuilt, it does have rust and in my opinion should be a parts car although I have not seen it yet.

I think I will advise him to rebuild the midget for fun and part the other two.

It is very tatty at the moment, paint looks like primer, engine room nasty and junk everywhere. Needs to be cleaned to see what he has, maybe tomorrow. He said the tranny even felt good.

I am possibly looking for a transmission for a 79 1500 MG. Let me know if your friend is parting out the 1500 and the year.

Try to find a transmission locally. They are heavy to ship. You can use a 1500 spitfire tranny as well. Or... if you are passing through louisville, I have one you can have. But I do not know anything about its condition.

Yep, I also have one....shipping to you via FEDEX Ground is somewhere around $35-$40.

I just ordered everything I think I'll need to rebuild my rib case trans - around $200....1500 trans would be about the same, I'd think.
