Actually that isn't entirely accurate. I remember it snowing at my house in the San Fernando Valley in the late 80's. We made muddy snowballs at school that day. That same storm gave us snow on Malibu beach for the first time possibly ever. It didn't stick of course, but it was falling!
 
First snow here this year! Just as predicted - 1 inch of icy snow just enough to make it like work. Warning to Doc, Dale, and Mike don't look to long or you may catch cold. 22 degrees F. 17 F here on the hill.

It's enough snow to make us poor "Southerners" shiver just looking at the picture. Doc probably went into shock and reached for another coffee to recover.
