I was just sorry to hear this very special Healey 100 had left Australia.
 
I noticed that the pictures of the car have been heavily filtered/airbrushed. Not a good sign!

That button is the OD button. On early works cars (the 100 primarily) the OD button was put on the steering wheel. Later on they integrated the button in the gear lever. When you are driving 120mph it is easier to switch in and out of OD without having to reach for the dash. This is a factory installation and 100% original.
