Noisy valve train in rebuilt motor? Plus pics...

So I finally got the tr6 motor started up for the first time. Runs VERY strong, very quick revving (at least to 4,000 rpm).
However, I noticed the valves seem a little noisier than expected. The cam specs called for a .012 clearance on intake valves and .014 on exhuast valves. Is this what is causing a little extra noise? Should I be alarmed?
Attached are some pics. And thanks again to everyone on the oil advice. I went with Castrol 20W50 (go the most votes) with a bottle of GM EOS. We'll see how it lasts. I can't wait to get this motor broken in. Here are the specs again:
Triple Webbers/Cannon manifold
Header
two-inch exhaust
Big valves
H/D springs
Ported and polished head
10:1 C/R
.060 overbore
lightened flywheel

To come:
Mallory dizzy
electric fuel pump
roller rockers
bigger radiator

How much did you shorten your pushrods by?

Didn't see it on your list. Did you put in cam bearings? Did you pin the thrust washers?
