what, with this junk weather we are having in SoCal and no Garage-mahal like tony's, I'm in a bit of a rain delay right now. I just gotta keep checking on the tarp to make sure that everything is a-ok. the wind out here is fierce.

I worked outside all day...only went in the GarageMahal for tools, engine hoist, etc.

You should install a web cam aimed at the front so we can watch the comings & goings of cars in the GarageMahal. It would probably be a very interesting & learning experience.

I went autocrossing at the Frackville Mall, (Northeast PA Region). The weather was miserable, but I got to drive the car I'm co-driving this year for the first time (a '91 Toyota MR2 in SM2 class). Whew is it fast! I launched the car a bit hard on one run, and smoked the tires the first 50 feet to the first cone. It was definitely an experience with 3 year old race tires, pouring rain, and my first time driving a heavily boosted car.

Nice stuff Matt. Fun fun.

Yeah, we're going to national tour and ProSolo events at Walnut Ridge, Arkansas in the first two weekends of April. They'll be my first national events, so I'm pretty excited. We're planning on getting me some seat time next saturday, as well as the following saturday and sunday. Not too shabby (4 events in 3 weekends)! Hopefully I'll be able to really get a handle on driving the car. I managed pretty decent times. My partner is a pretty experienced nationals driver, so I'm proud of the fact that I was within 1 second on my first day. I think I may have done better once or twice, (maybe within .5 seconds), but I wasn't sure if I read the time right once, and missed it the other time.

Exciting stuff /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif Now I'll get to drive my Midget on the street more, and not have to worry about busting stuff as often!

Hmm, did autocrosses in Hawaii with a Bugeye for 3+ years. Never broke anything and was the guy in class to beat.

Durn Midgets must be easy to break Matt. LOL
