I've been using the "Thanks" button when I find someone's post helpful.

But in the last few minutes, the Thanks option has disappeared. Used to be at the bottom of each post: Promote to Article, Blog the Post, Contribute, then Thanks.

Wha happun?
 
It's there for me.
 
Weird. It's gone for me. It was there at 9:09 when I thanked someone.

Did you recently 1) change browsers or 2) change forum styles or 3) install any browser plugins or change any browser settings?

If no to all three, try clearing your cookies.

Thanks for checking. Haven't changed browsers (actually I leave browser - Opera - open pretty much all day). Haven't changed forum style in many moons. No plugins or settings changed.

Just ran CCleaner and restarted browser. Same problem - everything is there except for the Thanks option.
 
Update: I just logged in to BCF using MS Edge. Same issue: all is correct except for the missing Thanks option.
 
I just made a change in the "Thanks" settings on the back end. Try a refresh and see if your see any "thanks" buttons now (Check a thread that you did not start)
 
You fixed it! All the Thanks options have reappeared. Any idea what caused the problem?
 
Had you possibly given more than 10 thanks in a 24 hour period? There was a setting that limited the number of thanks that one person could give to 10. I set that to unlimited.

That's it. I had thanked all the folks who had posted their internet speeds, and probably a couple more in other threads. Glad you figured it out.
 
So, there IS such a thing as being too grateful... :devilgrin:

The "thanks" button is inconsistent for me. Sometimes it pops up, sometimes it doesn't.
