Ugg. So I pulled the gearbox out and waiting for the seal. In the meantime, heres our fire-up.
Listen carefully to the popping noise, we were sucking a bit of air from the gas tank to line connection, no fuel leak, but just enough to make it struggle in the first vids. But we got it. Oh, and a nice shock for me doing the timing, moving the distributor gave me a wake up!!!. Sorry for a little blurb in the beginning of the last vid, thats me shaking off the pop :>)

Yes, a very British (expensive) way of making a seal that doesn't work. Fortunately it is dead easy to fix the leak from the earlier boxes by boring the inside out to take a regular seal.
