No power at flasher

just a thought, but do you have a hazzard flasher switch? in my 71 TR6 the turn signals would stop working and after a lot of studying and poking and proding, I figured out it was the flasher switch, in hazard mode it by passed the turnsignals, and I tried cleaning the switch and that didnt work, once I replaced the hazard switch both the hazards started working and turn signals worked

I didnt see one in the drawing but just asking

Thanks, I have turn signals. All I did was run a 6” wire from green at the wiper thru to the flasher plug. I was about to snip the old wire but just stuffed the new one in the flasher. Everything blinks. I am going to finish the connection but the dash needs to come off so going to have one more look at the old wire before cutting it.
The signal switch has to be held or it returns to center immediately from either up or down. Switch?

Unfortunately, yes. There is some chance you can fix it yourself, but most likely you'll be looking for a different switch.
 
I'll have a look. Manual assist is better than hand signals. Every light and gauge finally works. A response to that today was "why wouldn't they." No ride for them.
