Lots of rust, but to have a trunk that is functional...would make it easy to paint the interior back there.
 
Is neat, but kinda screws up the lovely back end of the Bugeye.
 
I made the guy an offer of $1500 about six months ago. Found it very difficult to communicte with him. Tons of rust! The re-build would likely have more new metal than old. My only interest was the uniqueness of the boot lid, but $3000 is way too much for just uniqueness in my opinion.
 
I looked but couldn't find that. Did anyone notice the two-tone green and white paint job on the BE on ebay? I've though about it, but never seen one painted like that - amazing how it makes it look like big bros.!

Stay away from that hunk a junk. It comes up on eBay every 6 months or so.
