No High Beams

My 77 B has no high beams. When the dimmer switch is moved to the high beam position, nothing. Any ideas on where to look first?

Regards John

I'd look at the contact point of the switch itself. Clean them with a pencil eraser.

Ditto on the contact point. You'll have to pull the dimmer switch. If I'm not mistaken, that will mean you'll have to pull the turn signal stalk off the steering column. A small nail file ~might~ fit easier than a pencil eraser though.

#600 wet-or-dry... lots finer than nailboard. Or a red ScotchBrite pad piece.

Do you have +12V out at the blue/white bullets on the headlamp pigtails? I'd start at the light and work backwards .

Although cleaning the switchgear contacts is good maintenance if you are not running relays.
