Oh well, no driving the 6 today. There's just a wee-bit of snow out there - about 25" worth. Yuck!

I jut put tire chains on my Morris Traveller and drove around the block Only two other cars made it before me and they were both 4wd. Snow is 24-30" here with drifts to 5 feet.

No snow here in NY. I wish there was. I love winter and not having snow makes it a drag. I already put my TR6 up on blocks for the winter so Let It Snow Let it Snow Let it Snow /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/cheers.gif

This is what greeted me when I opened the garage door this morning. You'll notice the difference in snow height from the drifting due to the wind.

Three hours later... We had the driveway opened up out to the flattened area in the street so we could at least get my brother truck out. The road graders came along and piled a higher drift across the driveway then we had just removed. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/pukeface.gif

There is a prediction for another 2-5 inches on Saturday. No idea where I'm going to put it. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/nonod.gif

Ever wondered about custom bodywork on wedges...

Shawn, that is disgusting! And I may have to mow my lawn tomorrow. Poor me.

This will be the view out of my windshield for at least another day.

The streets division came thru and buried what little we had open of the driveway. At least the streets will be mostly clear when I can get to it! The pile they left is bigger than the one we started with. Have to give my back a break though. I'll hit it again tomorrow morning. I'm not going anywhere tonight anyway. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/tongue.gif

Cold here on the island as well!
Going down to 76* tonight and I am
already wearing socks and long pants.

Almost froze to death stepping out of the shower.

Dale, are we brothers?

We are driving here in Lafayette, Colorado. The Jag only got submerged 10 times in 100 feet.
But Shawn's photos tell the story, we got about 28". I found all those muscles that have not shoveled snow since last March.
At least the snow plows didn't come by and deposit 3 feet of hard packed snow across my freshly shoveled driveway!!

Happy Holidays everyone!!

I love snow! Don't get enough of it IMHO... 'specially if you got one of these thingies!

here in new england, we've been very lucky (NO SNOW)
Im still driving my TR6 on the weekend!!!! /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/england.gif

No snow here yet either....Rain today, but I'll take rain over snow anyday. It's been unseasonally warm so far and I've been driving the TR6 around since it's stuck outside anyway....Except my heater blower quit the other day(i think, i didn't mess with it much yet), I've got no wipers, console, shifter surround(quiet a bit of fumes come up from here),rear view mirror, side mirror, I've also got no grill(all of this stuff has been removed for painting/repairs) and a big peice of cardboard covering the rad....so the whole thing looks a little strange driving around this time of year.

Got out of the driveway with the TR8 today. Didn't stay out long. Traffic is nightmarish. Tons of last minute shoppers (myself included) with reduced capacity streets and parking lots. A lot of inconsiderate drivers out there as well. Luckily I got my shopping done quickly and was back home. Its a little nerve wracking driving through parking lots with snow piles so high that I can't see oncoming traffic and they can't see me.
