T-Series NO CLUTCH ALL OF A SUDDEN??

hello everyone,
and thanks beforehand for any advise.
I went to drive my Midget ('77) after having had it stopped for a few days the other day and found that the clutch was completely gone, the pedal soft and going all the way down to the floor. the fluid reservoir had gotten completely empty...
does anyone have any past experience with this or know what exactly this might be??

is there puddle of brake fluid anywhere?..
sounds like it might be a slave cylinder. if the puddle is under the car . then suspect the slave of leaking or a bad line or connection.
if the puddle is under your feet and running down the pedals. then suspect master cyl. or line or connection

possible it went low on fluid and now you will have an air bubble to bleed out if you refill the master. and all might be ok.
best to find the leak tho

Well, unless the aliens have started siphoning brake fluid as power for their starships, one of two things has occurred: your master cylinder is leaking or your clutch cylinder is....now, if at the clutch cylinder, it could be the cylinder itself or the hose to the cylinder...if the master cylinder, its at the cylinder....look for the puddle as explained above, fill the master cylinder, bleed the clutch slave culinder & look for the leak...if it did it quickly, its probably the slave cylinder.

Check your carpet by the pedals. If it is the Master, that is likely whereit would leak!! If not, do as suggested!! Good Luck!!!
