no bumpers

Try Dayton Wire Wheels. I believe they can make a 15x 8 wire wheel using MGB hubs. I have a set of 13 inch on my Midget and the quality is much better than those Indian made Dunlops Moss sells.

I e-mailed Dayton and they said they can make a 10" wheel for the rear and 8" for the front, but cannot gaurantee fitment??????

10" seems a bit on the wide side. Unless you are creating some serious horsepower, 8" should allow more than enough rubber.

Go here: https://www.mgmotorsport.com/

Take a look at the Gallery and Cars For Sale sections. Most of these cars have 8" rims and look very nice. You will never completely fill out the rears but you aren't supposed to. If you did the tires would probably rub in hard corners.

Tom,
I used the bumper kit from British American to get rid of the rubber bumper on my 78. Lost lots of weight and was a easy change. Some may not like it, but it does not look like your everyday B. [image]https://www.britishcarforum.com/ubbthreads/download.php?Number=77583[/image]

Paul - thanks for steering this thread back in the original direction! How do I contact British American? I googled it but got no results, except for a UK trade association. BTW, your 78 looks great.
Tom

Tom Morehouse, I purchased all the British Auotomotive molds along with his morspeed domain name from the originator of the designs earlier this year when he decided to semi retire . My company is Team Liebre and I am making both flares and bumper conversion parts for MGB and TR7&8. The webpage above is my URL.
I am still producing the parts by hand layup using the original molds.
