Hi guys - under the heading of you never quite know what you've got until you tear them down... One of the HS6 carbs for the TR4A is missing the spring shown below. It goes in between the nut and the body/face of the arm that controls the movement of the jet.

As installed;

With bolt loosened;

By itself. Sorry - slightly blurry standalone shot;

At least I'm a help to you. At the moment my daughter thinks I'm worthless!

You know, it took me being a Dad to realize just how with-it my parents were... Or maybe it was when I realized that I better darn well have a job after graduating college in order to feed myself... But in any case she'll come around. Just might be a bit.

When did she turn 13?

Tom-

If Joe Curto can't help you, I think you can get that spring washer from Burlen in the UK:
HS6 parts

Not sure if I have the right part, but is it #36d on the diagram? If so, its dirt cheap.

17, she's just a little cranky at the moment. Usually get along great. Though, she hates the Wedge

I just bought a set of core hif6's from Ted Schumacher for parts. He may have something in the HS6 line also.
