I have added some pictures of the 240 SX that we dropped an LS1 in last fall to my webshots albums. The pictures are in the 'work projects' folder. I also added a few pictures to my 'work' album, a 32 Buick, we had for awhile, a 72 Mercedes 280 SL, a 47 Chrysler Windsor, and a Rouch 41 Studebaker Commander. https://community.webshots.com/user/waltesefalcon

isn't the carbon fiber treatment on that 240 a bit over the top?

Don't even get me started on that crap. Those panels, and headlights are Nissan parts. They are the most ill fitting, flimsy things I have ever seen. The hood is warped in the middle on the drivers side, the gaps all around the panels, are huge, and couldn't be made to fit any better. The nose is held on with these little straps that look like they belong in an erector set. The carbon fiber is a nightmare, and of very poor quality. That said the owner of the car thinks its the coolest thing in town.

that's a shame. I generally like that model of 240 SX. I wouldn't mind owning one as long as all the body panels were stock. The fitment problems sound as if the parts were made for a Japanese Domestic Market vehicle or by a 3rd party. My only reasoning for this is the cars that I've looked at that still have stock panels don't seem to have the fitment problems that you've described.

the pictures of that 240 make it look like its been covered with corderoy... heheh

I had a really hard time believeing that the panels were actually Nissan parts. But they were, I can't imagine a car company that would make such crap and actually expect people to buy it. Oh wait Ford's still in buissness, nevermind.

ROFL!!!
