Ya gotta have a hundred percent of the new/old paint off the floorboards before you go back with the new stuff.

My fingers hurt so bad I may never be able to pull a tooth again.

Bill,

If the 1% remaining is tightly bonded,
why kill yourself to remove it?

Can't you kinda think of it as a pre-primer?

If he is, I'm glad he's not pulling or working on any of my teeth. /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/grin.gif

Bill,

get a gallon of xylene.

After a minute or so- you won't care
(or be aware) of how long it is taking you.

On second thought, a bad idea to suggest to dentist.
Ya just might start pullin' out yer own teeth.

keep the faith.

Yes, it removes the whole aircraft, not just the paint!

I use to do everything by hand sanding and wire brushing as well until I noticed my fingernails were gone. Then I went (Airpower) air and power tools. Bill, you should have lots of these attachments laying around the office.

Bill,
I heard that 3M seam sealer is very good at removing paint. Oops, sorry!!

I think what we have here Bill is a case of Platonic idealism coming to life. You are projecting your own perfectionism into the vehicle, hoping the vehicle will immortally live. Of course the vehicle is actually a recreation of you in a quasi- perfect form. Your lack of immortality is propelling into removing every last drop of imperfection, so that you will live forever as the vehicle. Paint that thing Bill and put some rugs in it. The vehicle is already going to out last you by twenty years.
