Oh my. I love that one. And not just because I'm biased regarding the choice of cars. Well, ok that's a big part of it. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif

Into the gallery it goes! /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/laugh.gif

Gesh, Cliff did it again.

It would not be near so appealing if the grill was perfect or if the wheels were aligned just right. Look at the gal in the window getting ready for something??

What a talant and so fast. I am completely taken. How in the world does he do it.

I only see one thing wrong, no signature on it.

Have you sent your portfolo to Clasic Motorsports?

first thing I thought of was "it was a rainy night in Georgia"

But it looks like England.

how can you tell,? just because the car is rhd and the guy is wearing a bowler lol

I did this one yesterday - I started a race scene with some TC's and it didn't look good, so I scrapped it. Then thought about the era of the car and because I'm using Raymond Chandler books for my narrative illustration class next semester, I thought of this. Once I set the idea that I like, I just draw and paint. I find visual ref to fit my idea. I have lots of car photos that I've taken. I changed the look of the reference car to lokk more like Steve S's TC.

I've been off school for break and I'm waiting for another batch of DVD covers from the studio - so while I wait, I'm enjoying doing these. The cover work might come in today, that means I'll need to slow down with these. I still want to do a TR3, Big Healey and an E-Type in this Britsh group of cars.

Well that explains why it's a later model home market car, not an EXU (export). /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif

Hmmm, off school you going to school or teaching? Tell me you are teaching, this talant needs shareing.

Not only teaching but dept head. Good, that's where this kind of talant needs to be.
