I'm a 73-year-old male gear head who used to run MG's in the seventies when I was a young man. Sold my last one, 1972 Midget, in 1975 and said I was totally done with English cars. Caught the bug again, should have gotten some type of vaccine to prevent that, and purchased a chrome bumper 1974 MGB that screamed, "you better walk away". At first, I thought I got a good deal in a clean car from a gentleman of 85 years young but, after really getting into the car it's really a basket case (it was only driven 750 miles in the last five years). After trailering it home (no brakes) and finding problems galore, it will keep an old mind sharp for a while until we get the car better, a lot better. Thanks for the add.
