Could be, it's made reserve, which was evidently set at a realistic, even low, figure for a car as nice as this one appears to be. I agree, nice garage! The guy evidently loves his cars.

just read the seller's description of the car... he's selling it so he can fund his MGB V8 project and his MGB race car for "the Sebring event in March"... So apparently he knows what he has and it's minimum price should be... I'd gander that since it sounds like he has 3 of them he prolly set his reserve to what he needed to continue his projects...

A UK "B" in excellent condition ~£8K; makes re-patriation a viable economic proposition at current exchange rates (lets see, price in $ * 1.9 dollars/pound less VAT at 17.5%, less import duty at 10%, less shipping, so $8K is good, $10K very borderline .... /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/yesnod.gif)

That's pretty strong money for an MGB, but it looked beautiful. Maybe an indication that MGBs are starting to move upwards?

Pictures did look good but grill surround was bashed. I certainly was looking at it but would have needed to see it in person.

Of course will the buyer actually pay is the next question.

Yes, th high bidder paying up could be an issue. The grille can be replaced fairly inexpensively, so I would not have been unduly concerned if that had been the only issue.
