MGB-GT Nice One on Ebay

not to many miles either. wonder what it will end up going for.

Nice. But it has the wrong hub nuts. A '67 still had the "ears" on the spinners... unless there was some Kalifornia reg banning 'em early.

My thought as well, but I do remember reading somewhere that ears were written off in some places earlier than others.

Don't have my Original MGB copy with me, but if I remember now, '67 was a transition year for the octagonals. Looks like the tool kit has a couple of older knockoff wrenches in it.

Looks familiar. Hmmm, Looks like Steve Finch's car. One owner. His has the knock offs though. :encouragement:

According to Clausager's Original MGB:

""Wire wheels were retained by two-eared knockoffs, except when replaced by a simple octagonal hub nut in those markets where wing nuts were illegal (Germany and Switzerland from the start of production, some US states from 1965-66 and all of the USA from February 1967)."

So, chances are they are original to the car. Whatever, it still seems to be a very nice example.

Geez Mick- That purdy enough for a 'rumph guy to buy!

hmmm. Our '67 GT had the knock-offs. As did Herself's '67 roadster.

Horrible eBay ad - you have to jump all around, just to view the pictures.
Did anyone notice that the front bumper sees to be tweaked? It should be
lined up with the fender.
And the license plate just doesn't look right - repainted?

Not sure what you mean about jumping all around. Maybe this'll help

But the front bumper is a common issue and a very easy fix. And as for the license plate, since it's only on the rear (doesn't California require front and rear?), I would imagine that's only for provenance.

Still a very nice looking example (from the pictures, of course).

Hard to tell on Interweb but it looks like it's Snowberry White.
The same colour as ~my '69 Roadster~.

(mine has 2-eared knockon hubs....bought them at an auto-jumble).
