You might be surprized. I found importing a Healey back into Britain to be pretty easy- the freight forwarding company handled all the paperwork and hassle. It'd probably go into a container and shippers can handle this weight.

Ocean freight isn't as expensive as ground and the cost has to be considered relative to the car's value. Someone familiar with military vehicles could tell whether its a good deal and would justify the effort and expense, I certainly don't know... /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/nonod.gif

And all that would probably be far less than the restoration costs.... /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/yesnod.gif

Yep, it sure is nice but did you get rid of that Irish hue yet??---Keoke-- /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/laugh.gif

Hey Bruce, the DB 18 sold for almost $26,000 that is a bit over the top in my opinion.---Keoke /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/yesnod.gif

Bit more than I could pay. Still a sharp car.

Bruce

Price may have been OK, Chequered Flags bid to 23,000 and you know they would have thought they could resell for a lot more. However, they also were a little greedy with that SP250 they had this spring/summer.
