Too bad it's on the west coast. Well, too bad for me that is.

But good for me! I'm watching this one closely...though the price usually skyrockets by the end.

I had a patient who, when they found out I had bought a TR6, said "My dad used to have one of those. In fact, he had the hard top lying around in the garage for ages. I think he recently hauled it off to the dump." :wall: :cryin: :wall:

About 10-15 years ago at Import Carlisle, someone had several finished hardtops for sale. I eyeballed them all weekend. Of course, on Sunday the price dropped to $5-600. After I had worn a rut in the ground around them, I decided that I would never use it, it would be a pain to store properly, and he hadn't finished one in my color.
To this day, I can't say there has been a time that I would have installed it. I like to be able to drop the top on short notice.

Paul,If you ever get o the DC area my bro in law has been thinking about selling his.

I recently bought a hard top for my TR6 just to have it. I brought it home from the paint shop attached and when my brother saw it, he told me the car looked much better with it on and I should drive it that way!

I bought a hard top for my 1500 spit a few years ago and it makes it a very comfortable car in the winter. A very good investment if you cam find one.

Storage is simple!!!

I think it give the TR6 an Entire new look.

Lots of head room and nice to drive on those colder days!

Also it stiffens and quiets the car, you can actually hear the radio.

Kodanja: Did you have to rebuild your top?

I just had the top sanded down and painted,
then put in a new headliner.

I do have the rubber on the bottom of the wings, ya just cant see it in tht pic.

Your right Ray it does stiffen the ride up along with actually being able to hear how clear the stereo is...

SOLD. !@#$@! It looks like it was sold locally (or outside of eBay anyway). I KNEW I should have gone out there and offered cash for it!
