GT6 Nice GT6 on Life On Mars last night.

A new series on BBC called Life On Mars premiered last night and featured a nice looking green GT6 in action. If you TIVO'd it, the GT6 is from minute :43-:46.
 
Cool show - this must be the second series or a re-run as it was on a year or so also.

Lots of good 70's British car spotting - mostly Ford Cortina's and Escorts etc. This is kind of a modern remake of "The Sweeney".

("The Sweeney" was a rough and tumble British cop show from the 70's staring John Thaw (later to be Inspector Morse) and lots of old British cars in high-speed(ish) car cases on cross-ply tires. If you like "Life on Mars" I predict you'll like "The Sweeney" too and visa versa).

I was flicking around the channels one evening recently and came across a 70s era film in Spanish, in which the lead guy was zooming around in a white TR6, one of the early ones, brown interior.
 
We saw that... in the beginning we sat there going, "OH NO!! They're going to wreck the GT6!!!!" /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/cryin.gif

Fortunately, they didn't... /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/thankyousign.gif
 
It is the second, and last, series. They also had a few Allegros ("all aggro's) plus the Cortina.
