I was working on cutting the rear section on my 69 last night and a friend stopped over and was talking. He out of the blue said there is one of these cars for sale in town for 250 dollars. I pretty much immediately left and went looking for it, it was 45 minutes away. Found it right away, except it was 750 it was a 65 and was rotted out more than I have ever seen.

Anyway interior and dash were perfect, all chrome on body were good(midget) but no bumpers, which I was looking for. I talked to the guy a little and asked him about the bumpers. He said yeah i have them right there. He took them off and put them on a shelf. Absolutely perfect, no pitting no dents scratches, brackets straight. I asked if he wanted to sell just the bumpers and he stated he would, but wouldnt give a price, so he is calling today with a price.

Good deal...but, you're about to find out that an old car in pieces is more expensive than the old car itself....if you need the other things, take him a few hundred dollars.
