TR4/4A Nice eBay TR4

I have a question.
I've worked on a lot of these in the dark, distant past.
In this photo (of the nose, from left (driver's side) of centre:

Why does the bonnet ridge over the RF headlight (as viewed from driver's seat) look like it has a......problem?
About the ten o'clock from our vantage point.
Just seems to be....hiked out a bit, doesn't look symetrical.

It does look a little off which a couple of the other pictures also seem to show (sorry can't seem to insert them) but it's still a nice looking car.

Yeah, 'tis.
Just seeing if I could remotely calibrate my eyeball on that one.

If you are going to sell on ebay, this is a good example of how to do it - it is a nice car, but I think the extra pics are probably adding $5K or more to the bidding war.

I kind of like the 4A bumperettes on there, gives it a pretty clean look.

After reading that the owner has passed and the widow is selling the car, the fellow club members may be sending the price northward out of kindness. Nice folk if that is so.

It is a very nice car. Baby Blue is a period color.

The apparent rust on the suspension parts makes me hesitate just a bit.

With it being so close to AZ, maybe Geo can run by there for a quick look.

It's 26 degrees outside now, Geo. Why not wrap a scarf and take the TR3 over for a quick look, top down, avoiding all the Interstates and taking that secret scenic route you've told me about. I understand it drops from the mountains right down into this area of the state.

Maybe I'll follow you. And maybe upon learning the thought, my wife will attack me with a claw hammer.
