The weather in Michigan has been less than idyllic for taking a weekend trip in a car that you'd rather not drive in the wet.
This weekend, I did finally get to take my BN4 a bit over 200 miles northwest to lake Michigan, more than half of that on two lane highways and a good bit on a minor 4-lane that didn't require a heavy foot to assure survival.
The car ran great in every respect, seeming to appreciate the attention and the chance to stretch its legs.
I may not need to do a Negative ground conversion, I took a small 12 V battery along and kept my phone charged for a couple of days, which meant I had earphone access to Pandora and my own MP3s, Google Navigation-GPS, a camera, and an accurate speedometer.(82 MPH on the Smiths is really about 70 MPH.) That's about all the entertainment I need.
Passed this barn on M-50 near Eaton Rapids and had to turn around to snap a shot. I was going to find the guy and tell him to correct his spelling, but thought better of it.
All in all, an extremely enjoyable weekend trip.
