JP - does that mean it's time to kick him out of the nest?

Re: Isn't it amazing

Being a newb here, I'm not privy to intertwining relatioships... and a little dense.
That being said, someone wrote a fine article. Good work.

Re: Isn't it amazing

I read it and learned A LOT! Didn't know it was you kellysguy 'cuz I never knew your last name. Really good article. I've been wondering about the difference in welders and what to buy...

Re: Isn't it amazing

Thanks guys, more likely very well edited.

Gas was beyond the scope of th article anyway which was about machines v.s rigs. I figured no sense giving a novice even more information to cloud things any further.

I was already 3500 words over and didn't have time or room to go into gas welding.

Thus the reason I post in single sentence paragraphs.

I really enjoyed writting it. Surprisingly I get the same satisfaction from writing as I do from fabrication or artwork.

Too bad I can't do any of 'em for a living.

He responded in there ,Boss

But if he is like me,...the pub is always good

Way to go Kellysguy! You write well and as our esteemed leader says :"when you gonna write one for our articles section?" Huh? When? Well just get started!

Good question. I have other things that need tending to, health concerns first. I have a Dr's appointment in an hour. I won't know anything yet, it's just a $100-a-minute conversation.

The guys at Moss have been great to work with, not only for the article, but getting parts too. If it wasn't for Shawn the Midget 3.55 gear set wouldn't be available state side. He was on it as soon as I brought it to his attention.

Re: Isn't it amazing

I knew there was more to you than a pretty face,Billy.:wink-new:

 Funny you would say that. Kelly had a new student who asked what I did for a living. One of kelly's "lifers" piped up and said,

" Oh, he's for decorative use only".

geee....thanks lady.. :smirk:
