The next to last MGB produced, the last that met US Federal standards, this is a MGB LE. The ID number is 523,000. British Leyland gave this car to Henry Ford where he put it in his museum where it sat for many years. It was eventually purchased and driven a very short time, and the inevitable engine fire occurred. It was totally restored back to original with over $9,000 spent on the paint job. That was a lot for a paint job when it was done. The car is beautiful and with a good detailing, would be the best MGB LE in the country. It has been sitting since 2006 inside a storage garage alongside all kinds of Ferraris and Rolls Royce. The owner would like to sell if anyone wants a super low mileage MGB LE. The pictures show it as it sits. Needs a very good detailing. Let me know.

I may be missing something, but ..

Henry Ford died in 1947. He was given the last MGB?

Just wondering ...
