Picked up a set of digital calipers from Harbor Freight this past weekend, and I've got some time ahead this week. It's time to finish the engine tear down.
I've got the head off and the studs out. I'm assuming I need to remove the valves (need a spring compressor I assume) to finish off the head disassembly. Then I'm guessing the rest of the block needs to come apart -- timing cover and gears, crank, cam, etc.
Any particular order other than what's in the manuals? What should I be measuring as I pull stuff apart?
