I had a bit more than that but not an inch Tony. And I've been thinking way too much about this whole thing (like last night instead of sleeping) I looked at the exploded picture at Moss, I don't have a spacer like that. I have a flat washer with holes in it (hub?), about 1/8" thick, that came off FIRST, sat directly against the pump. Also, the pulley is 2 piece (according to moss, it looks to be 1 piece and turned the opposite direction of how it was on Emma)
So.

I disassembled again. Radiator's out on the floor (hoses came off a LOT easier this time), alt's loosened, fan & pulley is off. Something is bugging me, and I don't know what except that my assembly didn't look like Moss's.
/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/nonono.gif NOPE Kenny! it will be found some where in the manual that talks about the "nose" or the "motor horn".---Keoke- /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/hammer.gif
do they make some kind of suspenders for a fan belt when you have it all the way to the end of the adjuster and it's still loose? /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/devilgrin.gif
Well, I sure can't poke at anybody else - lately when I sit down, my belt buckle disappears! /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/eek.gif I guess I officially suffer from Dunlop Syndrome' now ...
