A friend is considering buying a set of Nixen tires for his TR4.
Has anyone had any experience with this brand of tire?

Thanks.
Ron

I've been running a set for about 7 years now -- seem like a fine tire. Suitable handling, good even wear, didn't take much weight to balance...

Currently driving with them on the TR4.

Subjective and possibly trivial - but they do not look overly modern, a rather traditional tread & sidewall.

:eagerness: What They said. I have a set, have been happy with them.

LOL, Geo. Yes I am sure. I might have used a picture of yours when my paint guy was trying to match up BRG however...

I have Nexen tyres on our family everyday car, and they have been good.
However, as a personal choice I would fit Pirelli or Michelin on a TR.

You may tire options that are not available in the U.S. Here, the choices for 165/15s are often quite limited with some favorite brands & styles moving in and out of the market (mostly out) year-to-year. Right now Vredesteins are probably the quality tire we have access to in this size.
