Hi everyone! I am new to this forum. I am looking for any and all information regarding the 1954 Austin Somerset, A40 Saloon. My husband and I just purchased one in good shape and are planning a restoration. Tips, tricks, do's and don't are all appreciated. Thanks in advance, I look forward to getting to know you all. We live in New York state, so please bear with me if I don't understand all the differences in wording.

Welcome! I think that somewhere I may have articles on the Austin "Counties" series that I could scan and e-mail. But first I have to find 'em! These cars are pretty basic and the mechanicals were used on many other contemporary vehicles so you should be in good shape.
