It is a chrome bumper car built in 12/73 so it just "missed" the Sabrina bumpers that were added after 1/1/74. It was on the road when I bought it last summer, now perched on jackstands in my garage while I replace the doglegs and lower front fenders. Luckily, I was able to patch the outer rockers. The inner membrane, castle rail and sills are all solid. I caught it at a good time.

Welcome, Jack! Sounds like you have a fine example of the CBB in your possesion...same year and month as mine, but you are doing the right thing with your rust problem. I am not too far away in northern MD and used to live in Mechanicsburg. Maybe we'll see each other at some of the local shows. MGs of Baltimore runs a great show at Rocks State Park near Bel Air every September - come on down!
What is your VIN number? It'd be interesting to see how far apart our cars are since they were both built 12/73.

Small world, Jack...I am from the West Shore too...Lemoyne actually. I am aware of the show at the Rocks and may see you there sometime...or perhaps The British Invasion at Gettysburg, which is a nice small show at the outlet mall there in the summer. My car is originally from NJ (gotta love them Jersey girls /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif) and is a late 3371xx number, which puts her in early December, according to the experts.
