Hi All -

I'm new here. I've been lurking around and made a few posts. (Bugi)Mike and WhatsThatNoise suggested I introduce myself here after they took a look at my website about my car.

This site has been a GREAT find for me. I was reading some of the threads here tonight and thought I'd take a moment to say hello. Lots of good info here on cars that I've only been able to experience via pictures, the I'net, and magazines. I've always been interested in TVRs and Ginettas and Elvas and the like for a long time. Used to AutoX a Midget.

SO - glad to make your acquaintance and thanks to Basil for a great site!

Indeed. I've never heard of such a car. You aren't all that far up the coast, maybe I'll get to see it some day.

Welcome, Allen! Hope you enjoy the stay. Friends in western PA had a Gilbern Invader MkIII "back inna day"...

I see you've hooked up with Dave Bean. Good move!

"Modern" Elan... hmm... we'll need a "talk" about that. /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/smirk.gif

Welcome Allen.

That is one neat little car! I really enjoyed your website, especially the "book" pictures.

Thanks for all the comments! Nice to have some appreciation for my car from those who can truly appreciate what it is.

BTW - really enjoyed the link to aeronca's site with the racing photos of the Spridget. I keep hoping I'll recognize my old one in a photo somewhere someday - for sale at a good price. I'll get some photos scanned in to see if anyone's ever seen it. It was 90% ready for road racing when I sold it - SCCA FP class.

I should have the Evante back from the shop with the new bottom end in two or three weeks. I'll be sure to report (hopefully brag) on the chassis dyno testing/tuning.
