Back round check.Circa 1966-67 age 11 or 12 neighbor comes home with 2 Austin Healeys. 100 or 3000 I don't know. And I thought my Dad's 67 Camaro was cool!!! First car at 20 was a 72 Midget with leather interior. Previous owner had money. Paid 850.00 for it with 175.00 for insurance for the year!! The 68 chevelle 396 black on black was 400 more that I was looking at. Yes I kick myself every day for stuff like this. Anyway, worked on british cars late 70's early 80's to hold me over during unemployment.a string of spitfires, mgb, mgc (yes another I foolishly gave away). 1995 started restoring a Land Cruiser FJ-40 and 2 Series Land Rovers. This febuary people are selling chances for laps at Texas Motor Speedway in a new corvette. I was asked if did cars, blah, blah, blah. I said the only car I want now is the AH but with prices high for junk, don't think so. God Bless Bob V. He says I know a guy that has 3 Healeys and he's broke. Don't know anything about them, give him a call. I ended up with 1962 tricarb. Body was done and stored. Giggles of new parts for the mechanicals and it is now in my garage. Now to find time to build it. how about that.

I noticed you also have a FJ40. Me too.
This forum reminds me of Ih8mud.com for LCs.
Welcome aboard from a fellow newbie.
I always drool over those big Healeys.

Hi There Simco,

Hey; At least you can say you have one of those "BIG" Healeys!! Thats a heck of lot more than most of us here can say (I`m speaking for myself, Of Course).

"Welcome" to the Party & Have a Blast with your "New/Old" toy.

Hey Gundy; Your avatar has changed. Is that a new "Mod/Resto" of your Bugeye?

That's the cookie jar the guy I bought the Sprite from gave me as a Christmas present. The top and windscreen lift off to get at the cookies. It's in perfect condition but has hazing cracks from age.

Hi Gundy,

Thats really neat looking! What size is it?

Russ

PS: Anyone out there reading this happen to have or know of a Bugeye Diecast For Sale? Must be 1/18th Scale or larger (Top Down of Course).

Thanx,

Russ
