Hi there.
I've recently purchased a 67 MGB and I'm a complete begineer at this. A lot of work has been done on the car already, rust removed, engine rebuilt and an exterior resprayd although a lot of cosmetic work needs doing. All the rubber seals around the window and header rail need replacing. Im looking around at getting some good literature to help me along. Any recommendations?

Congratulations! It looks like a good straight car and it's a great year. Although your turn signlas are on backwards! /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif

The best manual is by Bentley. It includes a copy of the factory manual inside. Another good reference is Haynes which explains things a little differently and is a little less technical. Lindsey Porter's MGB restoration book is also good.

And this site the best of all.

The Original MGB by Clausinger
Bentley Green Manual

with those 2, you're in great shape to correct anything

Oh, welcome! Nice ride!

Haynes is good but what I do at night when I am watching the ball game is surf the web. there is a wealth of information on the BB's and Places like the MGOC Chicagoland MG club, Advance Auto wire and many others. And when in doubt ask a question on the Board. There are a bunch of guys who love to impart their knowledge on others and believe me these guys know more about MG's than you or I will ever know.

Did not realise where you are located. How are the All Blacks doing? Last I saw they wern't too hot. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/england.gif /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/cheers.gif
